A. VALIDITAS
Validitas untuk mengukur hal yang seharusnya diukur
atau mengukur keTEPATan.
Untuk menguji validitas menggunakan korelasi Product Moment. Analisis per item. Data
bersifat dikotomis, misalnya benar salah, atau ya dan tidak. Misalnya jika
jawaban benar diberi kode 1 dan jika jawaban salah diberi kode 0. Untuk angket
daftar checklist, jika jawaban YA diberi kode 1 dan jika jawaban TIDAK diberi
kode 0.
Uji coba minimal 20 responden. Yang ideal responden
30 orang.
Item yang valid pasti reliable, sebaliknya tidak
setiap item yang reliable belum tentu valid. Yang diakui teruji adalah item
yang valid karena item reliable (reliabilitas) hanyalah yang valid saja. Jika
dalam suatu pengujian ada item yang gugur, maka item perlu dibuang, dan uji
item dilakukan lagi sampai diperoleh item yang semuanya valid.
B. RELIABILITAS
Reliabilitas untuk mengukur keajegan data atau
keTETAPan.
Jika
data berskala seperti SKALA LIKERT diuji menggunakan alfa cronbach.
Jika data berskala diuji dengan alfa cronbach, jika data dikotomis diuji dengan split-half.
